NYUFan101 didn’t you get accepted last year
Wait guys, for the financial packages, what’s there is it right? Or do we have to wait until April until all decisions for regulars too are made for them to give us a final financial package? pls and thanks !

The decision is not up for me
under 2017 financial aid I got 1 scholarship and nothing else. Do they give out once or is there a chance of getting more aid afterwards?

When do MLK scholarships come out??
okay guys, nothing to fear! I just accessed my admissions decision again, and get this – as some of you might see from your screenshots/etc, at the very bottom it says something along the lines of “Join the Class of 2019 FB Page”. They accidentally used the format for 2019, and therefore took everything down and reuploaded the acceptances with the correct 2020 letter format. Never fear!
If I did not receive a decision letter from my primary school of choice, but one from my secondary school of choice. Am I to assume that I was denied to my primary choice?

Did you receive any financial aid? I applied for financial aid and scholarship and literally have been awarded none. This can’t be possible given my income circumstances. The net price calculator predicted about $30k a year for us
@jso0528 I think that is a safe assumption. It wouldn’t make sense for them to send 2 acceptances

Irritatedstudent001 here! So I got rejected from NYU, and I’m thinking to myself, is this good or bad. Well lucky this forum here allows me to see the students for NYU 2020. Oh and also parents post in here, hah! Well as I’ve been following the thread I’ve come to the conclusion that with my rejection I am partly glad I won’t be attending this institution. Some may say that this is because of my rejection, and I think I’m better than the University. But that is not that case, I honestly would’ve really liked to go to the school, but reading this forum has lead me to believe the students applying are competitive, self-righteous, superior, and privileged at times. This came new to me as I thought the student body would be completely different. It amazes my what students will say and do to try to get some type of upper hand in the process or some dumb theories that will freak everyone out. To the students I resonate with, thank you for seeing where I’m coming from. For the disappointed or excited parents and students get over it it’s just an overly expensive college with a bad ROI, that has students like you’ve seen in this forum!

It’s not final until April, after the FAFSA is submitted, and any merit awards are giving

So you guys didn’t receive any straight up aid? How can they post a net price calculator that offers my family $30k then not offer anything else?
Accepted NYU CAS 2020 and NYUSH, with $20,000 a year scholarship to Shanghai!
Hi guys, accepted to CAS. same here with me. I was offered nearly 70K in loans only. Compared with my family’s income, there is absolutely no way that NYU would even be allowed to give us that large of a loan, and no other aid at all.
