I applied to Tisch for film (domestic applicant from Massachusetts) and checked Albert and didn’t see anything. That’s so so weird though - did he get an email or was it on Albert? If it was on Albert maybe they’re starting decision waves before the weekend? It goes against everything they’ve told us so far, but I can’t see how your friend could already be rejected otherwise? @ayli9784
@gothosaurus It’s an email not a mail letter I believe… It actually makes sense considering they are trying to separate out the notifications. But it’s also weird since NYU officially announces that all the admission results will be released on Albert only on the 15th…So confused right now.
@16eforeman Yes it is very weird. He was very surprised to get that email too since he thought the result would be released on Albert only. He is international tho, that might be why I guess??
that just makes no sense… why would they release decisions via email when they’ve very clearly stated that we should expect decisions on Albert. And also I think if they were spanning the decisions out to avoid overload on Albert on decision day then many would have received a rejection already.

Wasn’t there a history of International applicants getting their decisions a few days before domestic applicants?
But I agree, the email notification is different than what NYU informed us today.

Can anyone please verify the FA change theory for an international student who is not applying to any sort of financial aid??? This is really freaking me out since I don’t get how I could get FA change by any means if I am not even applying to financial aid and I did not do the CSS profile as well… Anyone??? Please…
Does it mean that it’s a solid reject since my FA summary page is just the default page with 'Award access not available???

@ayli9784 I know it’s not a definite rejection or anything, but I’m an international student who didn’t apply for financial aid and mine changed. But really, don’t worry. It’s really mixed, and people are exceptions on both sides
@covery03 Thanks !!! There has been some issues with my Albert account and I didn’t get it fixed with the help of admission office until four days ago… So I missed everything happened to Albert before this week… It might be like I got the change but I simply missed it… So do you still have the change now??? or did it go back to default setting???
I remember that last year, a couple international students apparently received rejections early. But none of them were actually verified. Could be possible though.
