@NTXDad since it’s unreliable for me to enter information of other applicants, I removed the three data rows I was beginning to collect. It should be all good now for avoiding duplicates.
not to scare anyone or scare myself, but is anyone’s housing application unclickable now? it says ‘application period closed’ and now I’m a little nervous. it was green and clickable (and led to the housing application) just a few minutes ago, until I refreshed the page. If it’s just me, then I suppose I’m rejected 
I’m just hoping this means that NYU just caught on to people checking the application out and quickly closed it?
Adding the ID, will help with reconciling who got in at least. We might see 100% correlation for some items, but unless the people who didn’t get in, also respond it will be hard to definitively say the different items were indicators.
@revenientis my guess is that they saw the activity and locked it down, until official announcement
@revenientis yeah mine also says “application period closed” despite still having “Brooklyn Freshman”.
Think about it guys, if it means nothing then why on earth would they bother closing it? Maybe they found out that we found out and close it as a reaction?
@ferrarivettel I agree. I’m guessing either a) NYU tracked this CC thread and noticed the housing theory posts, and quickly shut it down, or B) some daring, brave individuals decided to submit their housing application and NYU received them, which helped them realize that we had access to the page.
Yeah mine had Freshman and is now closed. Can everyone else check and say if yours closed? I’m a little bit nervous. I feel like everyone’s probably closed now, though.

mine too, got nonrenewable undergraduate so must be everyones.

I don’t think them shutting it down means it’s a sign of a correlation… many people already started filling it out/submitting it (many people on this forum).

It still says Freshman for mine, though, just with application closed.
Ha application period clapped they definitely caught on
letting my last bit of hope be that if they removed access to the housing application because they noticed we could submit it, but didn’t do anything about people being able to see if their account is entered as freshmen or non-renewable undergrad, then maybe that theory proves to be baseless.

agree with @4walls you can still see what it says you just can’t apply, I am starting to feel it could mean nothing or possibly who’s application status’ have been uploaded because they upload in waves and then release all at 5.
