I’m super nervous ? I’ve put meetnyu on insta / twitter notifications on and constantly checking my email even though I’ve set them to VIP so I get an alert. I truly hope I get in even though my final year and a half of high school were bad due to anxiety and

if decision date is on the 14th will international students be receiving on the 15th then?
@cheezy, depends on your time zone… they’ll all go up on the portal at the same time.
@cheezy yeah. Depends on your time zone. They’ll beginning relasing decisions in groups (randomly via the system) until all ED2 decisions are released beginning at 4PM EST. so most like it will be the 15th for some or late hours of the 14th for others. You’ll receive an email from them when your decision is available on the portal.
@ayeitztasha , where do you get that info? Everyone on here that was ED1 got their portals updated at the same time. I know some colleges release in batches, but NYU - at least for ED - is not one of those.
You don’t need to wait for the email, most people here just went on the portal anyway and decisions were all up, there wasn’t anyone still waiting for a decision when others had theirs.
@SJ2727 From @MeetNYU on twitter,the official undergraduate admissions twitter and also was told by a Admissions office. They don’t release all at once. The release the same day New York time but emails that your decision is available release in batches beginning at 4PM EST. It probably seemed the same time cause everyone tries checking the portal constantly instead of waiting for the email.

@ayeitztasha you can go back and check the ED1 thread. The decisions came out just ahead of the scheduled time, 5 or 10 minutes before 4pm, and everyone on the thread had them immediately. And yes if it’s all on the portal at the same time, who cares when they send out the emails?! Why would you bother waiting?
I applied to CAS for Journalism EDII. I also applied for alternative programs for GLS, Gallatin, and Steinhardt. Can someone give me my chances?
