NYU ED II 2018 Discussion

hahaha well thanks @VioletAvenger!

2 days 18 hours

Lol the nyu email is kind of deceiving because usually rejections start out with “on behalf of …”

@violetavenger did your Albert change prior to receiving the email? if so, how much earlier?

@chances1please roughly a week before the decision day, not that it matters ;)

Thank you for sharing the email with us, @VioletAvenger :)

@violetavenger whoa whoa what do you mean? I’m not really talking about FA change … but like anything in particular?

@chances1please No other change except OGS before decision day.

Hey guys. I’m a freshman at NYU Stern right now and I’m actually in the BPE program! Just wanted to let the person know who was asking about it…you can apply for BPE and get rejected for BPE but still get into stern. Idk if that makes you happier or even more stressed I’m sorry, but I know a lot of people who didn’t get into BPE but still got into stern and I know a lot of people who were in BPE this first semester and dropped to regular stern. It’ll all work out for the best I promise things somehow always do

what is OGS?

@rodrigo9 learn to google

why are you firing shots… chill out mr. violet avenger…

shotsfired @rodrigo9 it is the Office of Global Services bud :)

Dear God, please help me get admitted to stern even though I don’t have FA change. D:

Does anyone know–Of all the students moved from CAS to LSP consideration, if anyone actually does not get admitted to LSP???

For reference- Acceptance emails should start with: “On behalf of the admissions…” Rejection emails just start with: “The admissions committee…”

Is it possible that if you selected the option for an alternate school and you applied for CAS that you would not even be considered for LSP?
I.e your application will not even be considered for LSP and your albert application status does not change.

uhmm unless you got denied from both…

My application status still have not changed( I applied CAS but no change to LSP ), and so does my FA. I feel so bad at this time. It’s like a pre-rejection to me… really feel awful. P.S. Im a international student.

You have no FA change?
Don’t feel bad, you won’t know for sure until Friday!

Good luck!
