I also have access to my parents’ emails and I didn’t see any emails from NYU before they knew about it so I don’t know…</p>

<p>I am so sorry about your admissions decision. I understand that you may believe that I am making a joke as I only recently joined this perticular forum( I hope you are aware that you do not have to be a member to view the posts). I am considerably older than you and usually prefer not to waste my time dealing with such petty matters. However, this was not a lie, or a “■■■■■” of any kind, that is why I have decided to write to you through a private message, and not upon a public forum. It would be better if you were happy for the others around you for their acceptance, as opposed to sending out seemingly petty remarks. Once again, I am truly sorry for your rejection, I have been there myself. I am sure you will be accepted to a wonderful institution where you will be extreamly happy. The only reason I made an account and posted was to calm the students who seem rather streesed about the admissions process, and let them know that there is still hope and an acceptance will be there soon.</p>
