Stern is much better in terms of location and opportunity. As well as UVA mctire. SO which one re u going? I’m interested. Hope tat I refer to the right person.</p>

<p>Now I’m too afraid to get NYU decision. After tat I’m rejected by COrnell, I think NYU is the place tat I dream to land. Although I’ve applied to UVA, I’ll still prefer NYU over it due to location. I DON"T WANNA LEAVE NY…Please NYU, save me, pity me. I want the city, family and fren and a good school</p>

<p>Half right. Did not apply to UVA but applied to Cornell last year and got rejected. Pretty much went in to Fordham this year with my mind set on transferring. Spent most of my time interning and studying lol. Hey worked out.</p>

<p>I know where you’re coming from, but you have to understand that I was not applying “for fun.” I was actually going to take on the loan. After getting in, I was so excited and told EVERYONE I knew. I knew it would be $120,000 and about to take out loans. However, I spoke to a few people (from NYU and from Baruch) and really considered both sides. I realized that, unless I will be attending NYU Stern, then paying that much is not worth it at all. I should have done more research about loans and all before I was applying (I’ll admit that), but I was really considering going. I honestly NEVER in my life thought that I would reject NYU. </p>

<p>It’s not just the money. I applied really early (right after 1st semester). I loved Baruch since 1st semester and during the second semester, I began to get so attached to it. It is the best thing that had ever happened to me. I love the clubs I’m in, the leadership roles I have taken on in, and the friends I made. I had never been so happy in my life before Baruch. I would probably go if NYU gave me at least a $15,000-20,000/yr, but I would still miss Baruch.</p>

<p>btw, since you said you’re from Baruch, what year are you? What, during the recent election, who did you vote for? NBA or FIX?</p>

<p>I’m glad that you like Baruch so much, then you better stay. For me, the most, i only need to pay about 80000 to graduate since I’m living with parents and I’ll be a junior transfer (if i’m accepted). I vote for Fix Baruch.</p>

<p>So… I totally got powned by the mail today. I went to open it and I saw a giant white envelope addressed to me and I yanked it out as hard as I could only to discover it was actually information my health insurance company sent me… suck…</p>

<p>I wrote this on the other NYU board to but I thought I’d share with you guys as well! </p>

<p>I called NYU on Monday and explained that I’m going away on Friday for a trip for two weeks to Canada and thus I wouldn’t be at home to be able to receive my Transfer decision when it would arrive by snail mail in mid May. They said that I could call back on Thursday and if they had made a decision on my application that they would tell me OVER THE PHONE- and so I did early this morning they did and I GOT IN!!! Ahhh I’m insanely excited. They said that there are only 24 slots for Tisch acting transfers this year which is crazy. Good luck everyone! I hope to see you all in NYC!</p>
