me.

it is painful

@ gummyVV me too :(

I’m an international student from UK trying to transfer to NYU Stern, Finance major.

I feel so angry slash upset that they haven’t reviewed my application yet, ***! I was rejected by Columbia (probably because I couldn’t take the SAT test since there was no place available on time) now since NYU doesn’t require SAT from international transfers, it is my last hope.

And when I call they don’t give me an answer, just my application is complete. What’s with that?!

Try the Net ID!
You’ll have your answer.

@TTBBTT

I am rejected by COlumbia as well, still waiting for NYU

got into Steinhardt for media, culture and communication!!

@ hookedongtown - I tried the net ID, it doesn’t work!

Can you post your stats plz

what year you will be in fall, 2010

yeah !sure I was actually…surprised that I got in …b/c
I’m from an art college background and the decision was on my portfolio 50% and my academic stuff 50% and applied for studio art, Steinhardt Program
But I will mostly likely to change my major within the Steinhardt.

high school stat
3.7 gpa
act 24…( _ _)

college
3.3~3.4 took mostly studio classes
my 2nd semeter’s one actually went down a bit.
interview with the professor went great since i had like this 4 pg long preparation
i think they liked my essay since I gave them real reasons WHY i wanted to transfer from an ‘art college’ to a university.

and my NetId didn’t work till like 19th
so don’t worry if you can’t log in.

class of 2013!

Congrats ydh1021!!!

My situation is a bit complicated, in the UK we don’t have GPA but finishing A-Levels and Freshman here I should have enough credit to start from 2nd or 3rd year in US.

My grades were AAB, (A is above 80%, B is above 70%)

and something else, is it possible that after accepting so many people they say we have enough students, reject the rest of the them?

I don’t think that is possible. I was at NYU yesterday for a workshop about transferring into Gallatin, and asked the guy in charge how many students would be transferring in this fall. He said he honestly didn’t know yet because they were still in the process of admitting people. He said it was a rolling admission process and made it clear that they were still expecting to add a lot of people. But that’s just Gallatin, so I don’t know about CAS or Stern or Tisch or whatever meeting their yield.

REJECTED! I’m not college material after all… :(

I got accepted today to Steinhardt=)

My NetID still does not work so for those whose ID still does not work, that doesn’t mean you’re not accepted. Hang tight guys… It has been really hard waiting, but I wish everyone the best!!

Congrats!! If your fave MLB team is the Yankees then I think we will be great friends…

I’m sorry TTBBTT.

Yes I’m a HUGE Yankees Fan, I’m actually trying to become a sports broadcaster. =]
