FA just changed to 2018!! Are decisions being released tomorrow?
When NYU emailed the application acknowledgement, did you guys get this message on the very bottom?
“Our admissions officers are looking forward to reading more about you. Congratulations on taking this first step in your college journey.”
@danielNYU Yeah I did, I think it’s just part of the generic email they send to everyone
based on the past few weeks it seems like decisions are coming out on Tuesdays so if not Monday then Tuesday!
Just spoke to an admissions counselor. She said that another wave of decisions will be released by the end of this week.
@acceptmepls123 i had the exact same time frame as you with regard to changes LOL i got my 2018 on monday then got my acceptance on tuesday (’: i hope you got in!!

Even if you guys do get in, take into account the financial aid that you’ll most likely receive which is slim to none. I got accepted two weeks ago and my financial aid package was basically a joke and a sign from NYU telling me not to go to their school. I mean that is if you are planning to take out a bunch of unsubsidized loans.

@rayaz97 so, in the “Financial Aid” tab of your Albert, there is a button that reads “Financial Aid Summary”. If you click on it it usually reads Aid Yr. 2017, New York University, Financial Aid Yr 2016-2017. For a lot of people who have posted here, their page updates (the “change”) at some point very soon before they get their decision and it reads Aid Yr. 2018, New York University, Financial Aid Yr 2017-2018 in addition to the 2017 line (and seems to be a fair indication of acceptance from what we have seen so far)
On my Financial Aid Summary, it looks like this:
Aid Year: 2018
Institution: New York University
Aid Year Description: Award access not available
Is the “2018” the FA change?
