I just noticed my daughters name and email was linked to this after someone on here mentioned it…do they just set up a portal type thing for all students that apply? This is my first child applying to college so I’m clueless!?

Stern is much better. Ranked No. 5 per US news. BU, No 40
@gherbss NYU Stern is one of the top business schools in the US. If you have the choice and funding isn’t an issue, I’d go for Stern. Boston is still a decent option if you don’t get into Stern though.

ive gotten rejected from 4 schools this week and I dont even care because all I want is to go to nyu this college process is awful

To those who have had rejections, sorry to hear. I’ve been looking at some of the decision threads and this seems to have been a brutal year for a number of colleges. Hopefully you’ll get better news from NYU.
@liaaa , yes if you listed a second choice they will assess you for it if you do not get into your first choice. Some people get waitlisted for first choice anyway even though there’s an alternate listed, so I guess it’s down to where they think you will fit better,
NYU is the last school I’m waiting to hear back from. I’ve gotten rejected from USC and BU and waitlisted from Syracuse. This is honestly so disheartening, I’m hoping for better news next Thursday
