but now i’m really really scared

this year has been crazy with many people with ACTs above 34 being rejected to many schools. test grades are only one input into their magical box and not the most important. your chance of getting in is still the same as others with high test scores. good luck!

i have 1330 sat 4.23 w gpa do i have any chance at all?? i got into BU and it had an 18% acceptance rate. i’m black and hispanic as well

I honestly don’t know anymore. I’m second guessing everything
its hard because the acceptance rate is so low, but they want all different types of people with different types of stats
i have a 1380 sat and 3.83 uw/4.12 w gpa, but i applied to gallatin and i heard the essay matters a lot in their admissions (i feel my essay was really strong). nyu is my last hope tbh bc i got rejected or waitlisted to all the other schools i applied to
I have no idea what’s happening anymore. I know my test scores are decent but my GPA and other stats are great and I wrote what I think are awesome essays. I got waitlisted at UC Santa Cruz that has a 50% AR but got accepted at UC San Diego which was much more difficult and competitive. I feel a lot of these acceptances and decisions are pure random.

I’m so nervous my gpa was a 3.7 and my sat score sucked but I wrote my essay about being born on 9/11 and had a few extra curricular activities hopefully something good happens!! Good luck guys
