Does anyone know when the next batch of results are coming out?
@qstransferring1 Theyâve released every single batch this year on Friday so the safe bet is on Friday.
Just got off the phone with admissions and they updated my checklist once again lol and said decisions are being released through January
I got into another school and I have to make a deposit by Thursday⊠Any thoughts and advice on what I should do about NYU?

I feel like that doesnât apply for transfers though just because weâve heard so many mixed signals and this Thursday is pretty early.
@qstransferring1 I feel like you should pay it just to be safe, I would want to be prepared 100% for the worst case scenario but that also might depend on a few factors like if the deposit is refundable after a certain date (I know some schools will give you a certain percentage back) and how much the deposit actually is. If you are willing to spare the money to be prepared for the worst case scenario then I would do it to be honest. If NYU does respond and you end up being admitted then at least youâll be able to just back out of the admittance to whatever school already responded. If admitted to NYU then you would just lose the money from the other deposit and have to pay NYUâs deposit which would kind of suck⊠but do what you feel is best. I hope this helps!!
@qstransferring1 I would wait until the very last minute so Thursday night and then make the deposit. With ED decisions coming out on Thursday, it is entirely possible that our decisions will as well.
But with that said, if we do not have decisions by Thursday, it is too much of a risk that you will not get in. I would pay the deposit⊠but only if you actually want to go. If you do not like your current options - take a gap semester and apply again in the spring.

I was reading through my essays for my application I submitted. Somehow I had two typos in my application!!! One in my EC section and one in my second essay. I think when I copied it over it got messed up and my computer spell check replaced it with some word that did not make sense. I am so upset right now guys!!! ): Now I really donât think Iâll get in.
