. I applied to too few colleges and ended up enrolling to my state school and being waitlisted by nyu and umiami
i havent seen any proof though… and i feel like a wave would be more than 3 people

hey fwiw you’re doing better than me lol, I didn’t apply to any other colleges. I’m 22 and I didn’t go to high school (and I’m honestly still surprised that didn’t lead to an immediate rejection) – nyu is like the only school that claims to meet demonstrated aid, has the major I’m interested in, and is located somewhere with a big film/tv industry, so I thought I’d give it a shot. I’m still holding out hope because it’s so early, but it’s such a niche major and it’s so difficult to find any information on any of this stuff…so I dunno. (sorry for the ranting lol it’s been a really rough few months 
)
anyway, I’m from florida and I think a couple of my old friends went to umiami! I know you mentioned being pre-law earlier in the thread, but are there any specific majors you applied to?

Applied business to Umiami, CAS politics at NYU (because there’s no way I’m getting into Stern). I am also full pay, so my ONLY concern is getting offered admission. But I’m currently committed to my state school of doom and despair

stern was my first choice and cas was my second school choice at nyu. new york was my first choice campus and nyu shanghai was my second choice campus

ohhh congrats!! shanghais a really nice place, food is extremely cheap if you transfer from usd currency
yes! unfortuantely tuition is too expensive so i’ll prob decline. i have until monday to decide :’) wishing sm luck to everyone else!

For the list of documents below the application checklist, the dates switched from Jan9 to 15 a few days ago. Was it the same for everyone?
yeah, mine was november 10th for months, but it changed to january 15th a few days ago
