**** NYU Waitlist of 2021****

@livedexperience8 sorry I’m at the dodger game but 3.3 gpa, 1260 sat, 26 act

So guys whats the gameplan… do we hope for tomorrow or nah

@sylviak23 do you mind sharing your stats?

I’ll reiterate this for those who couldn’t see it before but I posted this earlier
Hey so I just got off the phone with a representative at the undergraduate admissions office.
She said those emails sent out was the first round of students who were accepted off the waitlist in essence. However, either today or tomorrow, more of those letters will be sent out to students in continuation of the first round.

for those of you accepted, did you receive a good amount of aid? even if i do get off the waitlist i.m def not willing to break the bank lol

So are they not going to send out official acceptances until everyone who they are offering a spot receives an interest email for this first round? I’m just really confused why they would choose to do it this way and drag it out so long.

yo same tho @jayneinnyc

@gtmsoax yeah i’d rather know now than in the middle of summer lol

@AmazingAce123 wait so did they say that people who got interest emails are going to get acceptances? Or was it just a kind of “those are the ones we are considering”?

@MattHerb supposedly it’s different? at least that’s what my friend said? I dunno

@AmazingAce123 is this next round interest letters or acceptances?

@omojimin different how?

Hello all, I would like to ask what it means if I had previously only been able to see my waitlist letter from NYU on their albert online portal, but I am now able to get access to classes at NYU. I suspect I might be accepted, but I had not received any emails of getting an acceptance at NYU. Please advise, thank you!

@peperpy23 you mean you can access https://newclasses.nyu.edu/portal ?

@kelseycarolyn33 I can access that site yeah

accessing classes means nothing I didn’t receive a letter I have nonrenewable and I have been able to access classes for months.

I can access the classes too. It doesn’t mean anything. The only thing that I think actually means something is when your housing portable changes from non-renewable undergraduate to freshman.

@tsestich53 haha it’s ok. thanks for sharing though! I just wanted to see if we had the same stats so I could see my chances of getting in spring lol

How do you guys get access to your financial aid (even thos of u who didn’t get in?) I did give my fin aid docs but never a site to see it.

Hello, lovelies! I was just looking at my Albert portal and it reads that my application submission date is 1/3/2017, when, in reality, I submitted my application on January 1st at 9 PM Pacific Time. Does anyone else have this problem? (This is really late, but I’m just looking for advice for submitting my transfer application…I was wondering if the application date is time-zone sensitive.)
