has anybody received a definite rejection letter yet? also, those who have been accepted from the Tisch waitlist, what were your stats/ how was your artistic review? what do you think got you in?

I guess they’re releasing by school now? Seems like a lot of Tisch acceptances recently.
So it turns out I need to verify my citizenship for my financial aid to be processed. I can do that right away but will they be able to process it before my 72 hours is up?? Do you think i’d get an extension on that time if my financial aid isn’t ready by then?? I’m freaking out

Guys I can’t access my admission decision in my albert account. It says there is an error and I am not authorized to access it. Does anyone else have this?
@parisgeller it said so when i clicked the tab for accept/decline financial aid
I think everybody should be aware of this by now…
The only indicator that suggests you’re getting off the wait list is that “INTEREST MAIL.”
If you get one and reply yes, then you’ll get an official offer days later. Otherwise, nope 
If you don’t believe me:
“If we are able to consider offering you admission, we will contact you by email first to gauge your interest, as we know your plans may have changed since we initally offered you a space on our wait list.”

I got accepted to Tisch film & TV (I received an interest letter on Monday, haven’t gotten one since but my Albert updated saying I was accepted) my stats:
ACT: 30
GPA: 3.8
I’ve taken 5 AP classes which I’ve gotten all A’s in, but I didn’t submit any of my actual exam scores. Besides that I’ve gotten A’s in all my other classes except for sophomore year when I got a B in math.
It’s hard to say what they liked about my artistic application exactly because it would probably vary from person to person, you know?
So those of you who get an email, congrats; There’s absolutely no reason to cry.
If you don’t get one, and no matter what school you’re applying to, it simply means that they can’t admit you at this point.
Just keep in mind that we aren’t even through the second wait list update yet, and you still might get in.
Also I called and spoke to a woman who said they’re sending actual emails out around 6. This happened with another school I applied and got into where they said they would post acceptances at a certain time but they actually came earlier
My admissions decision says freshman admit for fall of 2017, but my letter and financial portal hasn’t changed. I also did not receive an email.
I just called they said its sometimes released by school- the last one was. Also- emails do not mean acceptances by any means they are just confirming your interest if you didn’t make it clear enough on the RSVP form
@migno12 do they get mad when they receive calls or are they okay with them and with the asking of questions? I want to call but I am afraid to be bothering too much!

@migno12 I’ll let you know if I have the courage to call hahaha! I just want to know about the availability in the dance program really. I know it is a super small program and probably there is no more space available
I totally get it-- I’m a drama kid!!! I wish I knew even how many kids were on it. From what I’ve asked people have called all the time and they’re super helpful:) I wish I knew when or if the next wave comes out!
