Yeah troll really is a censored word I guess. And yes sorry for making any quick judgements, but it just does not seem plausible (+ the twitter account blocking?). We should all know CC is not the most trustworthy place. Regardless, I just want some updates from NYU on what is happening!
I am blocked from their twitter. I was just trying to share this info about what they dmed me to help provide some closure to the fellow waitlistees on here. My post can be taken with a grain of salt though. If anything, everyone will find out tomorrow or hopefully soon what is happening, but that is the dm received. Right now Im creating a new twitter to see if I get another response.
Are they going to send more emails tonight/ does everyone hear back about their waitlist status tonight?

The dm I recieved from contacting them on my other account, “Hey Chris, sorry, I made a mistake in what I told you earlier. We are extending offers of admission to a select number of waitlisted students today. If you haven’t heard from us, then unfortunately you have not been offered admission at this time.”
“However, waitlist activity will continue throughout the summer, and there is still a chance that more spots will open up as we get closer to the semester. Unfortunately, I’m not able to give you any dates or more specific timeline information.”

They have been answering other people’s DMs but I DM’ed them yesterday asking about their availability of spots for Gallatin and they didn’t respond.

hey guys so I just checked my portal and under admissions decision, it says admit type: new freshman. and it says effective date: 5/11/2017. But the waitlist letter is still attached… what does this mean…? Cuz i think it was updated today…?

i got an interest email on monday at 12pm est and i checked albert at 3pm and my decision was there. i got an email confirmation at 5pm
