I’m going to be honest here, America will not vote for an African-American President… for now. Personally, I see that being the biggest reason why we will not be seeing Obama in the White House; sadly, I don’t think he has a chance because of his skin color.

It will be Clinton vs. Giuliani, IMO. Conservatives have really lost it this time; Romney seems to be a flip-flopper on social issues, McCain is stuck with Iraq. As a moderate (more liberal than conservative!), Giuliani strikes a balance most Americans will like (some of my Dem. friends like him more than Clinton), which I found interesting. I will most likely vote for Giuliani in 2008.

McCain is going to continue this wretched foreign policy. If McCain get elected, then we’re going to be in another war. This time with Iran. Don’t believe me, then google “barbara ann mccain”. BAsically, McCain is as big an idiot as the current administration.

Obviously '08 will result in a democratic win. It is still unclear who the candidate for either side will be, but I think it’s safe to say McCain (Bushie) and Ron Paul (great guy but too obscure) will not win the candidacy.

Hilary Clinton couldn’t even keep her husband, THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, from cheating on her. How is she gonna keep a whole country satisfied and under control if she couldn’t even tame her husband who was moral enough to be elected president??..

AND she stayed with him. She’s not strong enough to become president.

I would love to see an Obama-Edwards ticket-
in terms of the debate Obama did well in my opinion.
I was irritated with how afterwords they critiqued him for the whole show because of his foreign policy answer ( I don’t think he understood the question) and then the next day they talk about his " racist" religious advisor
Hillary impressed me in the debate with her poise and polish
still Obama Rules!
Obama-Edwards in 2008!

Hillary trails Guiliani in the bipartisan polls by a comfortable margin. Surprisingly, Obama beats both Guiliani and McCain in polls. If Democrats want to field a candidate who can actually win at this point it looks like Obama is the best choice. Not to mention he’s an honest statesman who can get things done, unlike Hillary who would just mire up Washington in even more political BS.

I’m not doubting you, but in what poll (Giuliani vs. Obama)? I’m curious because I thought Giuliani led by a comfortable margin, McCain, Clinton, OR Obama.

more likeley than not, guiliani won’t win the primary: it tends to be the older and more conservative members of the republican party that cast votes in the primary, and don’t support giuliani, who is way too liberal for them on issues like gun control, the fact that he got divorced…etc.

The more important statement is, that if the republicans want a chance to win the whitehouse, they’re gonna have to elect giuliani as the nominee.

It’s not that she’s a woman, it’s that she’s Hillary. I don’t want to explain it here because there’s a thread in this forum about her that explains it far better than I can. Besides, the numbers are just working against her at this point.
