Have you visited Occidental and Hamilton? What’s beautiful to some, may not be beautiful to another. For instance, I think Hamilton has a lovely campus, but would not say it is “really” beautiful. Though I’m sure others may feel differently. It does have lots of green spaces, but they are likely to be covered with snow for a good portion of the year. The town of Clinton is very cute but not in walking distance to the campus.
But I agree with @Chembiodad that your chances for admission even with the ED bump are slim there so you may want to look at more realistic options for ED
