***Oct 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

School Day SAT! <a href=“Tasks for SAT School Day Administration – SAT Suite”>http://professionals.collegeboard.com/higher-ed/recruitment/sat-test/school-day</a> I get 2 tries within 4 days haha

… I am enraged… Where is your school?

Strange that this is the same day as the PSAT…

what the actual ■■■ is that THATS NOT FAIR

@scarlettlovesivy‌ shirking means avoiding your own responsibility and pinning it on others. Free riding is shirking. Free riding is frequently obvious. Remember the questions ask for what is said in the text not for what you think the rest means. If it’s not said either figuratively or literally it’s wrong.

ok

@Castigations‌ Is this the same October SAT?

on the two circles question, the shaded region was 1/4 the area of circle A and 1/6 the area of circle B. If circle A has a radius of root(2), then the area = pi2. Circle B has radius of root(3) and area = pi3. 1/4 area of A = pi/2. 1.6 area of B = pi/2. The shaded area(s) are equal so the radius ratios must be root2 to root 3.

*1/6

@scarlettlovesivy‌ I’m honestly just trying to help you understand! I’m sorry if you saw it as a hostile remark; it wasn’t meant to be

@uclabound1‌ ohhh i thought it was the ratio of their areas, not their radii.
@iStudy‌ No it won’t be the same OctoberSAT, i think they make a completely different one for this test.
@alldaboston‌ my school is in NY!
I’m surprised you guys don’t know about it :o

is the cr section about objective/ contextual reality experimental?

we were totally oblivious actually

@maygotocollege aw haha no, sorry i came off rude, i’m just so tired of this test and like i get it but sometimes these arguments mean nothing

was the critical reading section with a passage about reality and physicists playing 20 question xperimental?

yeah because i didnt have it. Mine was math experimental

What did you get for the passage about smell where the guy was talking about how people use flavor and taste interchangeably? It was either to criticize the pervasiveness of an error in diction or to point out the prevalence of mistaken thinking. They both sounded exactly the same to me so I wasn’t quite sure.

I am just @sodone with the SAT…

Guys! Did you remember…how many questions were there for the last section???IS IT 20 QUESTIONS???And also, how many questions for the smell/food passage? I thought it was 8 right? I just want to make sure that the last section has 20 questions cuz I remember seeing 23 questions for one of the reading section and I was so freaked out at first because usually CB does 24/24/19 for three sections. And I really thought I messed up somewhere and misbubbled the whole thing!!!But there are also many cases that some sections has 23 or 25 questions. Please!!!TELL ME THERE ARE 20 QUESTION FOR THE LAST SECTION!!!

@HATECB I don’t remember, but my brother swore that there was a 20-question CR section. Don’t worry hahaha
