@dhizzy The CR curves are set up according to the test. I myself have never seen 680 at such few errors. However this test may have a curve not previously released. ETS might have put in only a small curve for the questions they thought were tough, like the infamous Sonny questions. After this curve it may have fallen drastically. October tests are rumored to have horrendous curves. Maybe this test was one of those nasty tests. It may have broken records for horrible curves.

Also, the rumors actually make sense. Think about it, seniors are giving the SAT. They know more, so the test will be tough and have a tough curve to compensate for their extra knowledge(since ETS wants everyone to get a 600. [-()

We will know more by Tuesday. Still think the CR curve sucked

I think math was pretty terrible too. At least I escaped the nasty CR curve… me when I saw my math score : :-&

Somewhere, sometime, possible in another universe, an October SAT student got a 2400 and is laughing at all of us [-(

Oh yeah…YEAH… Well…Well, HE’S A JERK!

I seriously doubt that the time of year has any effect on the curve. I’ve taken practice tests from October, January, and May and the difficulty level was just random.

I guess math was harsh. Reading was a little harsh, but my score as a 610 was a bit depressing, because I thought I did much better than 610.

Math for me was 750, smiley:

:smiley:

:D

@DNuge98

I know what you mean. I got in the low 2000’s on my p tests and now my superscore’s like 100 off by that.

How do you study for math?!
@dan213

When do October 15th School Day SAT Scores release? I think I nailed CR then but screwed up terribly on math lol
Haha

@Amber I wish I could tell you, but it takes too much effort and time. If you want to know just go through all ten practice tests from blue book straight, until you know how to solve all of them. I could have gotten an 800 this Oct if I hadn’t messed up on I believe 2 problems, and both were not that bad. Just keep practicing, and even try Barron’s because that helps you too. I suggest the math workbook from Barron’s.

Does anyone know when the score report thingies come out? Is it 12AM EST (aka 9PM PST) or…?

I am planning to stay up till 1:00 a.m. @FuzzyPeaches22 I hope it comes out by that time. B-)

I’ll stay up until 2AM PST (so 5AM for all the EST people). I’m really curious about the curve!

for a 610 in CR calling 6 skipped which i know for sure and 10 wrong. for writing 700 and a 9 essay I’m calling 4 wrong.

Looking forward to the score report
