I put 10 for the trees question.

i don’t remember the exact question, but there were 2000 trees total, and the answer was 100 … there were 208 of one tree, 108 of the other

Yeah I put 10 also. My friend said he put 100, but wasn’t the number of trees that they provided for us 200…not 2000? idk if that would make a difference

Was the given amount 200 or 2000?

now that i think about it, it was 280 & 180, not 208 & 108
but i’m pretty sure the answer was 100

I got 100 for the trees question…

There were 200 trees …

i think it was 2000 … the number wasn’t given, right? didn’t you have to solve for it?

i thought it was 200. and they gave that number to you

haha idk then … do you remember the exact question?

Then where are people getting 100 for the answer from?

well there were 280 of the larch trees i think it was? and 180 of the other and it asked how many more so 280-180=100

if i remember correctly there were 200 BIRCHES, and birches were only 10% of the trees, thus 2000 trees in total

they didn’t say there were 200 trees in TOTAL, they said there were 200 BIRCH trees. and since birch trees were 20 % of the total; 0.20 x 2000 = 200.

The amount given was 200 BIRCH trees, which made up 10% of all trees. Therefore, there were 2000 trees. The answer was a difference of 100 trees. (E)

oh, I was beaten to it.

yeah that was definitely it!

I thank all 4 posters who said the same thing. :)
