I got 51%…

I got 50.05% as well

the answer, i believe, is 50.05%

Was there a choice for 50.05% AND 50.5???

i got 50.5%. meh. i had 51 at first. then realized that it was something like 1414000 VS 1386000 and not 1428000 VS 140000 like i originally thought.

WSham, so did I but I have a feeling my logic may have been wrong.

50.05% is definitely the answer.

damnit…

:( :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

I’ve missed SO MANY already.

1428000/2800000 = 0.51*100=51

2.8 million votes

28,000 swing

1.4 million is in the middle

1428000/2800000

= 51%

Was 50.05 choice C? Does anyone remember?

I ommited 2 and missed 2. How about you? I have a feeling I may have missed one more, but not sure.

wait the answer was 50.5???

wasnt it 50.5?

no…it’s 50.5 for sure…50.05 wasn’t even an answer…but:

2800000/2 = 1400000
28000/2 = 14000
140000+14000=1414000
1414000/2800000=.505
.505x100=50.5

28000 swing vote has to be divided both ways, not just added 1 way…if it’s only added to 1 side your total is off (add them up…)

Yes backfire to the rescue

51%! lol

His explanation was exactly how i did the problem i think

Because 28000/1.4 million is .01

so… 50%+1% = 51%

backfire–if it is 51%, I am soooo grateful

it was 50.5

yay. other ppl that say it’s 50.5
