OCTOBER 2009 Writing

ok thanks. and was it “one” or “writers” for mark twain. and whats the consensus for the greek/roman lit question

I was torn between C and A for the 1945 writer question
I think it went “already an expert she had begun writing …” or “already as an expert she began writing”

I put C at first but changed it to A afterward.

Anybody remember if the Greek/roman question was #11 in the last section? What was the correct letter?

I emailed collegeboard abotu Bartholomew.

We should start a tally.

satquestion@info.collegeboard.org

Ugh I hope the curve isn’t too bad in this. What do you think -6 will be? 720?

I also still don’t understand why “Life of Bees” was no error.

Yeah you can. I got -7 and still got 730; however, I got a perfect on the essay.

i had -4 and an 8 essay and got a 660!!! is that ridiculous??

That sounds about right.

I got a 660 once with -7 and 10 essay.

can someone please answer me about the mark twain question

^

it was C. comparison error

I think “other writers” was right… or something like that in the middle of the sentence

by right do you mean there was an error for “other writers”?

What was the “Life of the bees” question??? Was it one of the identying sentence errors one or in the first part, where you get options for changing the sentence?

What is the answer for

Robot entering Science Fair question?

Does anyone know FOR SURE?? I think the main problem was that one was “planning on”
and the other was “plan to”

It is A(planning on) or B(Plan to)?

isn’t there no error in Life of the bees?

What would a :
-4 10 essay
-4 11 essay
-4 12 essay
be?

690
710
730
thereabouts

i got a 730 with a 10 essay and -3 in march…

Can you tell me the answer for Robot science fair question?
it’s driving me nuts

I got minus 5 and a 10 on the essay on the June SAT and got a 720.

@omgmmmm can u give me the full question?
