October 2010 ACT Scores Thread

Sooo relieved!

36-English
34-Reading
32-Math
28-Science

33-Composite

@ConfuciusSaySAT: Your SAT and ACT are both good scores. In fact, I think they’re pretty close. Use both of them.

@kahnowns: Yeah I’m sorry if I offended anyone or anything, but my expectations are quite up there. :/

Sad now, talked to an ACT rep on the 1st and said standby would get them on the 9th but I feel like she lied…parents are gonna kill me now, yay!

@WillDaSnail

Hmm well I took the SATs 4 times…each time increasing by 100ish points

and I took the ACT twice…31 then 34

That’s alot of testing. Won’t reporting both make me look like someone who does nothing but take tests all day? (I have pretty good Ecs, mostly leadership, don’t know if that make up for anything)

I already sent my SAT score of 2130 to most of the schools I’m applying to…Should I also send the 33 ACT? I’m pretty sure the 33 is better than 2130, isn’t it?

@ConfuciusSaySAT: Sorry if I didn’t clarify myself in that post, but what I meant was that both of your best ACT and SAT scores are roughly equal to each other. You can choose either one to send to colleges, or send both scores if you wish.

And looking at what you said, for the SATs, yes that’s a lot of testing, and colleges will see all of it (I’m going to go ahead and assume that you’re not using the Score Choice option).

@UOPtiger: Send it. It will replace the lower ACT (or SAT) score you have on file with whatever colleges you have sent your scores to. 33 = 2200-2250 range, SAT equivalent

English: 35
Math: 36
Reading: 28

Up from a 31 in September :)

Reading: 26 (sucks)
Science: 31 (wow)
Composite: 31

Hoped for 32, but 31 is good too!
Up from a 29 in September…
Science is quite higher than what I have expected it to be this time…

Math 34
English 30
Science 33
Reading 31

Composite is 32, but if I superscore, it becomes 34 (36 in Math, 35 in Science, 34 in English, 31 in Reading). And most (if not all) of the colleges that I’m applying to uses super-scoring.

I’m happy now.

E-31 (down)
M-32 (had to leave during this test to drain the main vein and ran out of time)
R-34 (biiig improvement)
S-28 (#$&% my life)
C-31.25. I always have .25.

Better than a thirty. I guess if i can improve on science, december should be pretty good
