October 2011 SAT General Discussion

@echoyjeff222
i put that too…it was confusing…i think it was a parallelism question

@Mascara
you sure? i put archeologist, passage talked about the scattered bits or something it left behind

yeah it’s definintely archaeologist.

and why was that other question “paranoid?!?!”

spy and lawyer were 2 different questions…

spy wasn’t the answer. Archaeologist was.

and lawyer was for a question asking which situation was most like what the author was saying…that answer was correct.

i put spy for the passage based question … there was one word that gave it away - “interrogating” which made it more of a spy related thing.

prospective apple are you sure its qualify a claim/ i got that too but a lot of ppl were saying its not that and its the phenomenon one…

For W, there was a question like: …fish,like a human,… was there an error or no?

Definitely archaeologist! no doubt about it.

hmm i put bewildered b/c it seemed like the roommate was spazzing out

@bear111 i believe i put E

Bear: it’s no error, and that question has been mentioned 1000 times :P

yeah and now that i think of it i should have put paranoid >.<

@bum… The roomate was spazzing out, but the question asked for the state of mind he was in. The roomate wasn’t exactly confused…

is lawyer the one question in the art passage?
because i put the father and the sand castle as the answer

ok what about “contrary to those” or “unlike those of.” which one is correct

Oh god… I’m kinda sure that spy and lawyer are two separate question… spy is with archeologist… And lawyer is with other ones…

Weighing: considering hard

^ what was that question?

Anyone else think the curve for the math will be 46/54= 700? There were ALOT of hard questions on this guys.

What the the other choices for self-consciousness

I missed like 7 CR. grrrr

Probably only 2 math and 1 or 2 writing with a 8-9 essay. Ends up being a 2200 or so.

I always do better on the ACT. smh

Anyone else thought math was really easy?

Math was the easiest section for me!
But CR was difficult for me, and I spied a lot of tricks I fell for under writing.

For W, is it “unlike those of” or “contrary to those” for the librarian question

@bear I put “unlike those of” I think “of” was necessary in the sentence
