it doesn’t matter if the question made him seem pretentious
urbane means: b. Of a quality, action, etc.: characteristic of or befitting such a person; refined, sophisticated.
he doesn’t need to ACTUALLY be like that
he comes off as it so he’s urbane
and erudite means learned
so that fits.

pretty sure you had a 60 in long rope and it asked how many pieces of 7 you could make and that means the answer was 8

yea, and cosmopolitan means closer to being worldly/diverse, etc. so it doesn’t really fit.

It was urbane and erudite - 100% positive.

The subject was described to be sophisticated and learned.

These are the exact definitions of urbane and erudite.

Cosmopolitan is open minded, which is not exactly “sophisticated”, and cavalier is arrogant, which is not “learned”

also cosmopolitan means like knows the world and cavalier is like gallant
the question isn’t describing a brave globe trekker…
it’s urbane and erudite!

and rope cutting is 8 not 7

oh wait, my bad, cosmopolitan and cavalier combination doesn’t work because neither of them mentions about “learned”

yea…dang it the erudite one is right, “erudite” is the key

I just hope I didn’t make any stupid mistake…PLEASE

did anyone put something else for the vocabulary question with a choice of “defy”? I forgot what are the other options and the question but I believe I put something else.

^ The second most-picked answer on CC seems to be “elucidate,” but you can’t really elucidate an imagination.

I don’t recalling myself putting that down…what was the question? thanks.

For the rope cutting q
19 unit long string
2.5 unit each
Isn’t answer 7?

@KennyP i just graphed it

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE OTHER ANSWER CHOICES WERE FOR the “ALTERNATIVE EXPLANATION” ONE?

oh btw…what was the other choices for the “alternative explanation” as well? mhmm my memory is pretty bad…

^^I don’t remember putting it or not putting it. I don’t even remember the question.

@coolpillow what was the question to 8 pieces? Wasn’t it how many 2.5 inches long pieces can you cut from a 19 inches long rope? Where did you get the 60 from? And wouldn’t the answer be 7 (19/2.5=7.6) since there are 7 whole pieces and one incomplete piece?

A 5 ft rope cut into 7 inch ropes.
You’re confusing this with the last math question about the trail…

@thenerdyjew ohhhh haha I see thanks =)

I need to know which one was the writing experimental. Can someone go into detail about the passages for both of the long writing sections? I did really bad on the first section but the section section right after that seemed normal and i had no problem with it… AGH its bothering me
