@annoyingorange the “by failing” part came after “it is…”
anyone remember question 13 on section 10? it was a sentence revision with the word develop in it. did anyone put the answer where it was one long sentence with the word developed?
i think it was letter choice c or something
Guys, you need to stop worrying. There’s nothing you can do about it now, and everyone has differing opinions.
We’re students, it’s what we do.
I’m not trying to be rude because I know how many tests CollegeBoard has to grade, but I wish they could give our test a bit earlier…oh well.
@JuicyMango Always thought CR and Math scores should be sent back a little earlier than Writing. But I understand that it’s a lot of tests and they are all over the country.
Wait I thought “in normal because they fail” is the right answer instead of “it is normal by failing”
How is the former wrong? (“They” is not ambiguous)
What was the answer to paradox question? Was it ambivalence???
Art Deco (A) CONSISTS OF geometric forms and straight lines, (B) WHICH © CONTRAST WITH the (D) SINUOUS, natural lines of Art Noveau. (E) NO ERROR.
A is fine.
C is fine, “contrast to” is wrong in this sense.
D is fine. Sinuous isn’t redundant at all-it means “having many curves and turns”, and natural does not strictly mean the same. THE ORIGINAL SENTENCE WAS NOT “SINUOUS CURVES”!!!
The real error is the “which” ambiguity. In a very strict sense, “Which” can refer to “forms and lines” or only “lines.” However, I’m pretty sure CB’s answer is E, because I haven’t seen any SAT typical writing question that requires this much thought.
In this case, no matter what you put, I advise all of you to email CB about the error in this question.
Hey guys. Can anyone give me a score prediction?
Math: 2 Wrong, 0 Omitted
CR: 3-4 Wrong, 2 omitted
Writing:2-3 wrong, 0 omitted
Was the answer to the Montreal ice rink question exorbitant or ubiquitous
@grunterbaum1 ubiquitous is best.
Ok good… Do you remember the question by any chance
It had something to do with “There are a lot of ice rinks in the area, it can be said that the ice rinks are: ______”. I don’t remember the exact question.
is it possible to get 800 -3 CR???
@TheEpic2401Man nah
If someone could list the 4 Plato/Atlantis question that would be greattttttt. PLEASE
PLEASE
PLEASE
PLEASE
Just wondering, what do you think the chances of -1 on Math being an 800? It was really easy to make silly mistakes
@supercalif Late getting back to this, but I chose “dismissive” since it’s not that he isn’t capable of believing the other opinion to be true insomuch as he knows for sure that it’s false and clearly dismisses it.
And then I chose “attention-grabbing pronouncement.”
