dispelling a misconception seems to be the consensus everywhere. trust me, I’ve scoured every thread.
@joeweller Thanks dude. ye i should have put ubiquitous oh well. And YES I was so disappointed. I just want him to win another slam before he gets too old and retires.
Yessss! I put dispelling a misconception. thanks for the help haha and I hope you get that score u were hoping for joe!
@chef99 Thanks bro! No problem, and I hope you get what you want as well. Just remember, one vocab won’t kill you lol.
@chef99 @joeweller Actually, fed is my favorite also. I was disappointed he couldn’t break through at Wimbledon/U.S. open. Thanks for the analysis, hope I do somehow manage a 10, as writing seems like the only section I’m on track for an 800. I agree that the examples weren’t great, but none of my literature/historical examples were applicable to “should young people focus all their efforts on one skill?”

“it” is ambiguous, the answer was the first one, plus the second was grammatically incorrect
The experimental section was the critical reading section about the president’s second campaign right? Because it asked for evidence from the passage that best supports your choice from the question before, and college board has those types of questions listed on their site as ‘questions that won’t be on the test until 2016’
@Runners
Yes, that was the experimental section.
Was it “studies show people experience more jetlag than it is normal by failing…” Or “studies show people experience more jetlag than is normal because they fail…”
than is normal @ScienceGeekGirl
@msbox44 So the second one?
yes i believe
@ScienceGeekGirl There is no doubt in my mind that the second one you listed, “studies show people experience more jetlag than is normal because they fail to” was the correct answer.
Also, how do you guys think the critical reading ‘curve’ will be for this test? Did you think it was harder than normal or about the same, easier? Usually its about -2/-3 raw score (not missed questions) for an 800 still. Has it ever been lower than that, -4?
-4 never happened
The experimental section # is supposed to be the same for everyone regardless of form. (People can get math, reading, or writing as their experimental, but the section number should be the same).
you guys all had section # 4 as your experimental right?.. right???
Pretty sure mine was section #3 @chef99 . Does it have to be the same section number, as long as the timings are the same? I’m almost positive mine wasn’t number 4, because I had 2 math sections early on, and the first one contained questions that my friend didn’t have (something about inverse proportionality).
@IvyHopeful98 Idk man, I’m pretty sure it has to be the same section #. Ask ur friends. I asked like 7 other guys and all of them but one said section 4 was their experimental. One guy did say he thinks section 3 was his experimental… but he wasn’t sure. Btw Inverse proportionality isn’t anything new dude. I took like 12 practice tests over the summer and there are questions about that for sure. And it is possible to have two math sections early on. How many math sections did you have total tho- that’s the key. You should have 3 math sections. if you had 4 math sections then math was your experimental.
@chef99 Section 4 was def experimental for everyone, for me it was writing from the new SAT.
