@RandomSATBaller
The Q and A service is mailed about 2-3 weeks after scores are released.
How are people getting their scores? Like just refreshing the page a bunch? When will the servers be back up? Anyome experience this before on a exam before
1st time,
I just got in but it says I have no scores
How did you get in
just kept trying to log in nothing different
2170
650 Math
750 W 10 Essay
770 CR
Im so salty. I got a 670 in Math in 8th grade and a 740 on the May SAT
So I got an 80/80 subscore for Writing. Does that mean I got none wrong? Because I put down No Error for the curvy/sinuous question btw
Also, I got an 800 CR.
I put down origins of a philosophy (not rationale for a practice)
Why my scores are still not available? can see the old test scores??
2390 with 790 on writing (11 on essay, 76/80 on MC came to 790, not 800 as some other poster had indicated).
Superscores to 2400 with my other 2370, so I’m relatively satisfied – just wish I hadn’t received an 11 – that essay was certainly worthy of a 12. Both other times I took the SAT I received 12’s, so it was a fluke and certainly by whim that I didn’t get a 2400 single-sitting
Oh well
Lots of other better things to worry about
For those of you reading this in the future, don’t underestimate yourselves – it’s really just effort and trial (don’t give up!) that are necessary to break 2350+, and luck past there for 2400
Same goes for the ACT; receiving a 36, for me, was much easier by comparison.
In fact, for anyone interested in taking the new SAT, I’d recommend you go the ACT route instead, particularly because there are more practice materials available
Congratulations!!!
Can someone explain why my scores are not available yet?? Thanks
Ugh neither are mine…
I’m really happy that I got an 800 in CR, but I’m just a little bit pissed off that I got a 2290, only 10 points off from the illustrious 2300, since I can’t retake again.
@ALibertarian When did you see your scores?
Around 12:30.
I was checking every 30 minutes or so since 7AM, and then it suddenly let me on, at least temporarily. I recommend refreshing a bunch.
Guys let’s find out the answers to all those questions we spent so long arguing about:
Trace the origins vs provide a rationale
Uninterested in details vs determined to push her kids to success
Emphatic vs analytical
Unease vs Despair
Genuine Confusion vs Ominous Possibility
Sinuous vs No Error
Etc
What did you guys use to study CR other than the Blue Book? Did the Critical Reader by Erica Meltzer help anyone?
And that would be awesome if someone could compile the curves for each section.
@PartyNextDoor On my first practice SAT (without studying), I got a 640 CR. After using her book and taking practice tests, I got a 730 on this test. Not an amazing improvement, but the book definitely helped.
