It asked for the whole thing, that I’m positive of…
What do you think this score will be? Math -1 Cr -1 Writing 0 or -1 +10 essay
@annoyingorange thank you.
What did you guys think of the essay topic? My examples for the one about leaders making compromises were Neville Chamberlin and the appeasement of Germany, Animal Farm, and the Declaration of Independence. Also there was a sentence completion question with a choice ubiquitous…was that the right answer?
@misterstax the answer was 80. It gave you a circle with two tangent lines that created a kite, and each angle they gave was 50 that was for each right triangle. You know that one angle of the triangle is 90 because it is tangent at that point so the 3rd angle for both triangles is 40. It asked for the angle of PAQ (I dont remember the letters) not for x. The whole angle should be 40 + 40.
I made a picture representation but i dont know if CC will allow it http:// imgur. com/tU3g3yG

The last math question in a particular section. You were given two absolute value curves one up one down. I believe it read f(6) = a, find g(a). I had -3. Can anyone confirm/refute?
@satanxietea I remember for a question like that getting -4. I think the x value for the f(x) was negative because I remember getting like a=3 and then plugging it into g(3) and getting -4.
Can anyone help me predict my score?
Critical Reading: 2-3 wrong

Thanks!
Guys please help me… I think I screwed up my essay
the promt was :
whether Young people should focus on one talent
introduction: normal background and three part thesis
My examples were:
Neurobiology- Eric Huber a famous neurobiologist discovered the connection between math and music and leaving out one or the other would be detrimental to the other (worded a lot better)
Athenian literature- in the moral of many stories such as Oedipus Rex, greek authors emphasized the importance of not focusing on one thing too much. Oedipus Rex in particular demonstrated one tragic flaw in particular, focusing too much on fixing the city and not himself
College Admissions- harvard admissions directer “John Mccormick,” argued that only people who have many skills will get accepted into college and go on to be successful
I had a good intro, 3 developed body paragraphs and i had no space at the end for a conclusion( i filled up both pages) What do you guys think i got… please help I’m freaking out

Hey guys, what exactly were they asking about the 300miles question because idk how you could end up with 0.5. I thought they were asking for the whole amount of time they spent on the road so I put 27.5 (300 miles to get there 300miles to come back)
I liked the essay pretty well. I talked about Howard Roark from The Fountainhead and Warren Buffet, two uncompromising, effective leaders.
@Lesender10 The question asked how much more time (Tyler?) spent on the road then (Sam?).
Sam average 50mph for the whole trip of 300miles there and 300miles back. Average speed = (distance/time)
(600/t)=50
t=12 hours (for Sam)
Tyler averaged 40mph there and 60 mph back
so (300/t)=40
t=7.5 hours for the trip to point B
and
(300/t)=60
t=5 hours for the trip back
Sam’s total time = 12 hours
Tylers total time = 7.5 + 5 hours
12.5-12=0.5
Tyler’s trip was 0.5 hours longer
Was the tangent line a grid in or MC?
If MC, what were the choices?
For the inelegant one, couldn’t is possibly be inconvenient. I put this answer down because awkward grammar is inconvenient for the purpose that inconvenient grammar doesn’t work. I think inelegant is wrong simply because they mention how the voice is good and the overall style is nice.
What did you guys put for the vocab question that talked about volcanoes and ice caps forming on other planets? I was confused with that one, the choices were
counterparts
parameters
underpinnings
ramifications
@ekl2498 i believe it was MC but i dont remember the choices, prob 40, 80, 90, 120
@yankees32 It was counterparts im pretty sure
@stephenjk I think your essay is amazing if it followed the outline you posted. My previous essays have been way worse and I still got 9s on them
I think I remember getting 80 degrees for the tangent line one. It had two right triangles with a 50 degree and a 90 degree angle. The unknown angle for both was 40 degrees and you add them together to get 80 degrees.
