Overall the writing was subtle, both idiom and redundancy on the exam… Was not expecting that.
@concreteolives Use college panda score calculator.
4 was the radius, you had to use the formula (pi)(d) which is the circumference of a circle and being 2 semis, it was equivalent to a complete circle.
@rglizzy do you remember the specifics? I remember that question but I don’t remember what I answered.
@rglizzy the radius was 4, but it was more than a circle, it was a circle plus the diameter
how’d you guys think each section was relative to previous tests you took? I felt like the critical reading was definitely harder, math was average or slightly harder, and writing was also slightly harder
@catepillargiraf id say the math was one of the easiest in terms of concepts but one of the hardest for small mistakes
none of those… the answer is that the teacher wanted to express his or her passion for learning
If I took this in october, should I take it again in november or december?
@kentonpalmer I’m from Ontario and I have the exact same situation. No one knows what princeton or columbia is? All they have heard of is the term “ivy league”
Does anyone remember what question 34 for writing was???
i did
For the first time, I might actually do better in reading than math.
God, I think I made so many stupid mistakes on math… One of them possibly being for the ice cream pints question (i might have divided by two 5 times instead of 4 times )
can i get 800 in math with -1???
Stupid writing. So many friking subtle questions. Wasn’t redundancy something that usually isn’t covered a whole lot in the test?
Seriously, I bet I didn’t even crack 650 on writing and in practice tests I was like 740
Is the two semi circle question in an experimental? I had 2 back to back 20 question math sections and I am trying to find out which counted.
On the writing question about the mom solving issues with her dorm roommate and becoming friends, was the correct answer the sentence that started with “but” or is that grammatically incorrect?
@TheEpic2401Man no I don’t think so
When I take into account the questions discussed in this thread, I got something along the lines of
700~780 Math
620~700 English
600~680 W (I’m just estimating here, based on my practice exams)
1920~2160
which included some room for error
Anything 2000+ would be good enough for me though.
@TheEpic2401Man: There’s a 24% chance you can get an 800 in math with -1, but I unfortunately don’t think that will happen because most people agree the math was fairly easy this time.
