October 4 SAT Critical Reading

“no where, no where does it say he was a “major” part of the book industry. thats off topic not mentioned. the point of the 1st passage was that so little is known about him and the writer was usually excited when new books came out b/c it was such an interesting topic. my 2 cents.”

i love how we analyze each other’s posts like we do SAT CR. LOL the point was the passage was that little was known about him, but nowhere did it say the “writer was excited.” The exact phrasing was something along the lines of, “If he does not have 2 or more books out, then it’s a bad year,” which is a way of saying he’s doing very successful (not many authors have 2 or more per year). Therefore, he is thriving in this industry despite being dead.

I put a more balanced consideration. It seemed like passage 2 presented both sides instead of taking a definitive side like passage 1.

I’m pretty confident on CR, but I think Math killed me today. :frowning: So awful.

for the squsares and circle, wasnt it c=k?

i repeat, does anyone know about scrupulous

overly generous is MUNIFICENT.

vivizzle, i got more balanced consideration too
and it was b and k i believe becaues of that rule… which i forgot the name of LOL

ontmoretime2 - Did you have the section about Magritte and the “This is not a Pipe” painting?

no scrupulous for me

so yeah did anyone get a writing section about an aunt and tour guide in hawaii?

let’s discuss the jewlery passage? anyone wanna list all the answers they got for htat passage?

I don’t think cosmopolitan is correct on your list.

no hawaii…

did anyone set up a chatroom for this?

brown, that might’ve been your pilor section? cause i didn’t have scrupulous either

cosmopolitan is for sure correct

Ok We Needa Chatroom!!

I don’t remember scrupulous and I definitely didn’t get a tour guide in Hawaii, haha.

Which CR was the experimental?

haha typo, *pilot

why isn’t anyone talking about that nature essay? like… the rewilding one. that was so hard for me… I think I got all of those wrong…

Yes!
I had 3 sections and I had the same readings as the ones listed by Dark Knight in the first post above. These all counted. Everything else was experimental!
