yes you can.

can anyone remember any of the answers to the passage about the pipes?

oh college: i remember the inscrutable and exhaustive one, and i’m pretty sure that wasn’t the answer

IT is not irreverent. P2 is not being more disrespectable than P1. (implies than P1 was irreverant) It is being MORE uncertain.

what was the PROLIFIC sentence about

Hey - check out the first post on this thread. I had 3 CR sections and the readings are all listed in the order I had them.

 1. Object to … repeal (if you object to a law you can work to repeal it)
 2. Momentous … trivial (some momentous events end up being trivial)
 3. Inapt … odd
 4. Magnanimous (Norton was very generous)
 5. Nuance (shades of difference)
 6. Garner … Enigma (French artist Delacroix garnered much praise but remains a puzzle. Thanx to my AP Art History teacher U R the best!)
 7. Prolific (some writer wrote a lot)
 8. Precipitously (person acted hastily)
 9. Digress (person didn’t stick to the topic)
 10. Coincidence (something about chimpanzees)

How the writer wrote a lot of stories.

what did you put for the monkey sentence completion in the last section of the SATCR. (coincidence, mischance, and something else).

starbursts1892 - The author of passage 2 was definitely IRREVERENT. He mocked the people who visit Stratford. Tone was IRREVERENT.

HOLD ON…normally we should have 5 separate passages in 3 sections(1 double, 2 separates, and 1 single)…

on this test…those who had 4 CR sections…we would have more than 4 separate articles/passages.

double – automobile vs. city
chinese girl and mother
arts and crafts
pipe/painting

and what???

i still can’t get over which is experimental

i thought the chimpanzee one was truce, because it said something about the scientist being criticized for suggesting human motives

Monkey sentence - coincidence!

I know Passage 2 was definitely irreverent. but that’s not what the question was asking. It was asking “Compared with Passage 1, the tone of Passage 2 is more.” You have to read the question carefully. If, you pick irreverent, then it would suggest than Passage 1 was irreverent.

gah i don’t remember that one even though i def know what that word means. was there a second answer too?

does anybody think that the one about the girl working in puerto rico is not cosmopolitan
