chance seems too hopeful while celebration is certain

this is ****ing me off that yall think celebration fits with playing a game in the great depression

celebration of property as appose to what the creator intended it to be.

does anyone remember the sentence (or the parts from it) that had the answer “international cultural”

sighs I don’t know. I did look at celebration, but when I think of that word, I think of party. But there is a less known definition of celebrating, and that is appreciation. So it could be celebration. But it seemed too optimistic for me. And it was about a game, so i put chance.

celebration of owning property, as in celebrating African American culture

why isnt it internationally cultural? yuo cant put two similar adj in front of center without have ly added to the first one

its international culture but i dont remember the sentence

@rawk

do u remember the context (like the few words before and after)?

@mabsjenbu123: Wasn’t that the passage about Im Pei, and the part when it said “scientists wanted to turn it into a international cultural center?” I thought it was intenationally cultural at first, but it you speak it out loud, it sounds strained and forced. Consequently, i’m pretty sure it was international ultural.

oo ok thanks

hopefully I put that :)

like the city of dallas has a internationally culutural center blaj blah
if cultural center is the noun then it could be international
but since its saying cultural and not just culture we no its a an additional adj with internationally.

i definitely think it’s celebration… the question asked which is the MOST positive, not which word fits best based on the passage, and using celebration still makes sense in the context of the question, and it is definitely more positive than a chance to experience. How can you rule out celebration because it was too optimistic? The question itself was essentially telling you to pick the one that is the most optimistic/positive

“internationally culutural center” that sounds really bad

it’s international cultural center

what was the one about why the author mentioned that monopoly changed, like the pieces and etc changed

was it to hint how the original creator felt that it was turning into a property game, or just to show how the game evolved

I doubt that it could be intenationally cultural, like I said before, if it doesn’t come to you quickly, try to mouth it out, (if you’re not obvious about it), and if they way it forms out on your tongue sound strained, its not the one. If you say internationally cultural center too many times, I promise its going pretty awkard and elementary. ;)

@Daps: I’m pretty sure that was showing how it evolved, spread from region to region, and how people changed it to suit their area and manner of living.

It was how the game evolved and “international cultural” center, The city of dallas is an international cultural center

I don’t remember seeing the option “internationally cultural”, I remember I wanted that answer choice but I didn’t see it listed. Maybe I just skimmed too quick, but anyways I put down “international cultural” too.

Is everyone SURE they saw “internationally cultural” as an option?

I saw it and I put international cultural
