Yes, I thought I did average in reading last year, but I ended up getting a 33.

You will, so you better start getting *ed :)

just to clear the air, i wasn’t saying that people on here are bragging. it’s just that it seems weird that everybody is getting 34s, 32s, 33s, etc. Where are all of the scores in the higher 20s?

Tanman, it’s not that weird. The stupid ones don’t go on CC. How many crappy college apps have you seen so far on here? >.< Besides, they only represent a really small portion of the whole student body; the elite portion apparently. <_<

I took the ACT 5 times and my highest is a 26. CC makes me feel like a piece of crap.

There are a lot of smart people on this website, but that doesn’t mean your 26 isn’t a good score

that was totally worth making a new account for. a 26 isn’t bad imo. all my friends have lower than 26’s. and two have 19’s. act isn’t everything. i took it four times, the first three i didn’t increase. can you say persistent?

I agree with blondi_225, don’t get discouraged by CC.

Im another guy thats not as smart as you CCs…I got a 1400 on my sats and waiting for my act score tonight…Ill jump in excitement if I get at least a 20 for a scholorship.

^ Agreed. You’re well above the national average.

Don’t worry; CC is an odd place lol. I bet you that half of all current 09-ers on CC will be applying to at least one Ivy (total speculation, but it seems pretty accurate).

The only reason I’d apply to an Ivy is to see if I’d get in. No way I’d pay the tuition, but I’d love the bitter bragging rights. :D

But the applications are so looooooooooong.

And I’m trying desperately not to think about ACT scores, but I find myself drawn into CC forums whenever I try to avoid thinking about tests. Boo.

seriouly…I think braggin rights are a big factor when considering schools to apply…don’t you think?

^They are! Yet my laziness trumps the want for bragging rights as to actually GOING to the school. I’d only apply. I wouldn’t take it any farther.

Whoa. My second sentence makes…no sense. Now I’m wondering about ACT english.

if i got a 26+ on reading/science, i’d be muy contento…i aced(30+) on everything except science on sept…but this one aryugen’d(King of fighters?) me in the face

considering i got a 35 last time and i studied all summer to improve, i really feel confident that i got a 36.

I think I got a 31 composite. Ugh, 53 mins left!

I’m guessing a 30 composite. Last time I took it (my first time) I got a 28 composite, with a 36 in the reading and only a 24 in the math (sheeeeesh!)

Hm…for my not wanting to be dissapointed prediction:
