Ouch. That looks painful. All the blood vessels. I’m surprised she was able to stand up for the photo.

Now – three important questions:

Who took the photo?

Why in the world would you let such a photo of yourself be taken?

Who released the photo?

If you ever saw J&K plus 8, she had an episode about her belly, and showe how she had to tuck in the fat into her pants…somebody donated the tummy tuck for free…I don’t see that happening for Nadya.

My guess is somebod in Nadya’s family…maybe Dad

To get sympathy, something people have none for her (me included)

It went to TMZ…probably Mom or Dad, maybe she even sold it to them. Just heard on the news they paid for the pic.

I just was listening to another news story about the octuplets and the woman who owns the company that put up the website (or the “begging” site as some have been calling it), when asked how the mother was going to financially support these babies, once again stated that “there are many moms out there who have offered to financially help her through this and of course, she has the church who will be providing support.” If this is true, how long does she seriously think that this help will last?? It’s a novelty now but once that wears off, the donations and help will trickle in and then probably all but disappear. According to families of multiples, that is usually the course that this takes. And the special needs children will probably need help for the rest of their lives. Do these people seriously think that whatever help is being offered now will sustain this family in the future?? Even the nanny service stated that they have offered free help for a year - a year?? - What about after that year is over and she has 8 one year olds running around the house? She will need even more help then! Nadya Suleman and the people who repreesent are crazy and delusional! This is an impossible situation and they definitely need someone who is living in the real world to explain to them the dire reality of this situation. My heart goes out to the 14 children - I couldn’t believe how astute the 6 year old daughter was when she stated that her mother was going to be under a lot of stress - she is living in reality - her mother definitely is not.

While I don’t agree with what the mom did to give birth to all of those kids, I am sorry that she is being subjected to this.

“LOS ANGELES – Police said Thursday they will investigate death threats against octuplet mom Nadya Suleman and advise her publicist on how to handle a torrent of other nasty messages that have flooded his office.
Word that the 33-year-old single, unemployed mother is receiving public assistance to care for the 14 children she conceived through in vitro fertilization has stoked furor among many people.”

People seem to forget, if the children are special needs (feeding tubes, monitors, etc) you can’t just have any volunteer, they need to be trained.

I find it interesting, we know everything about her, but the church…something smells fishy. Surely, she would want to acknowledge this church that she attends and who will be giving her support.

BTW, I know she is in hiding b/c of death threats, and to me that is disgusting, you might not agree, but show your own maturity. However, where will she move that can house 15 people, and according to Kate Gosselin she had 50 volunteers a week, that means @7 people a day in and out of the house…or probably about 18 people a day in the home. They will be falling all over each other. I even just thought about the other 6…can you imagine how noisy the house will be with 8 babies crying at different times, esp at night when they are trying to sleep.

Can you imagine her moving to the midwest…she likes the limelight. I would say realistically those kids need room to roam. Anybody know where the Duggars live?

"One family from the Midwest has invited Suleman and her brood to live on their farm, Furtney said. "

As wonderful as that sounds, I wouldnt go for that scheme. Thats the story my Dad gave us when he got rid of our dog. “yes Penny is happy somewhere on a farm where she can run free…”

"The Beverly Hills doctor who helped Nadya Suleman conceive octuplets also provided fertility treatment to a 49-year-old woman who is pregnant with quadruplets and is hospitalized at County-USC Medical Center.

Several sources told The Times that Dr. Michael Kamrava transferred at least seven embryos made from younger donor eggs.

Fertility experts said that transferring that many embryos raises the odds of a multiple birth, which threatens the health of the mother and babies.

The California Medical Board is already investigating the octuplets case. In fertility medicine, any pregnancy greater than twins is considered a failure because of the danger it poses to the mother and the babies…

“I do think it is concerning, and dangerous, especially to the mother," said one doctor with knowledge of the case. “She is close to 50. When women get to be that age, our fear is the cardiovascular complications, such as stroke or heart attack. That’s how serious this is.”…”

"Most of Suleman’s children aren’t aware of what is about to happen to their family, but 6-year-old Amerah told “Dateline” that she didn’t think eight more siblings is a good idea.

“Do you think it’ll be fun to have a lot of brothers and sisters like that?” Curry asked.

“No,” Amerah said.

“Why not?”

“'Cause there’s gonna be a lot of crying.”

“Do you think your mom’s going to be okay with all those kids all the time?”

"A British embryologist who worked for the doctor whose fertility treatment led to the birth of octuplets said yesterday that she was shocked to discover he was still running the clinic she walked out on 13 years ago.

Shantal Rajah, 51, told The Times that she left Michael Kamrava’s clinic in the United States after three weeks, such was her concern at his personal attitude. She said that she found his behaviour impossible, including the secretive way that he ran the West Coast IVF Clinic. She successfully sued him for back pay and damages, receiving a substantial sum in 2003.

Describing Dr Kamrava, 57, as “extremely difficult”, Dr Rajah said that he had misled her about the clinic to encourage her to move from Britain and had refused to listen to questions she raised about the way the clinic operated.

I won’t diagnose on the internet, but this is serious. Tough for the children, for sure–all 14 of the children. I was going to say more, but diagnosing too much on the internet is not a good idea. Tough for the children I will say.
