<p>I know that Tisch does regional auditions but I actually have never heard that Steinhardt does. It may be that they do but that I just haven’t heard of anyone who has auditioned regionally. If you want to connect with someone there to inquire, you can email them here:</p>

<p>Steinhardt’s admissions process is different than Tisch’s. They have a fall open house and audition day in November that requires registration. Steinhardt requires an application to have been filed prior to being able to make an appointment for a spring audition. Unless something has changed, applicants must submit a recording to the school before being given the opportunity to audition. In other words, there is initial screening done prior to audition times being assigned, for those other than applicants who choose to audition on the open house day. As I said, I don’t think that Steinhardt offers any auditions outside of NY, unlike Tisch. In past years, Tisch holds regionals in Atlanta, Chicago, L.A., San Diego, Houston, and San Francisco, all in February. The 2009 dates are not yet available. Early decision applicants MUST audition in NY. Is there a particular reason that she is in interested in Steinhardt rather than Tisch?</p>
