According to the Panther Central page, you have to apply on the second Monday of January. That’s coming up! Here’s the page. I don’t see a clickable link, though. You have to be fast, because I think the process was over in one day last year, though. That’s how strong demand is. My daughter missed out.</p>

<p>In general, I would advise you to be flexible, apply for everything, and keep your fingers crossed. Things change from year to year. For instance, this past year, Pitt started putting kids up in a local hotel. It turns out that the students were really happy to be there, because they had all missed the housing deadline. It was nice that Pitt accommodated them anyway. To my knowledge, that was the first year that Pitt did that. So you never can tell. Also, some kids sign up for housing, then their plans change at the last minute. So there may be openings that you don’t expect.</p>
