Man, all these posts are so emotional. I don’t have anything to say other than thank you to everyone who was there to answer my questions and keep me in reality. I hope that everyone here is accepted, and if deffered, will kill the RD applicants and get in that way. I wish you all the best of luck before the notifications are out, which is 19 hours, 30 Minutes

19 hours…

Altho new to the group just wanted to add my great thoughts for all of you … for those of you that get in … remember to celebrate your victories … as they are oh so sweet … for those of you that don’t … remember that you are “oh so qualified just didn’t get selected” and that Michael Jordan got cut from his high school basketball team as a sophomore and has NOT the #1 pick out of college as a senior … quick who was the number one pick that year and from what college
… simply put, life is too short and has many many roads to success and happiness.

It’s finally Wednesday! Only 18 hours!

off the record…to answer dukemom…akeem olajuwon from the university of houston was chosen first in the 1984 draft (2 picks ahead of jordan)…he went on to a hall of fame career (considering he was a center). thought you might wanna know ;)

aww i love that man
but david robinson is better :D

HA! you wish. nobody had a hook shot like olajuwon

ok to keep it interesting and find a question more difficult to google … I was raised in NYC … the knicks championship team of the '60’s … ooops my age but a classic … team was willis reed center, dave debusshere (sp) forward, bill bradley (forward), earl (the pearl) monroe (guard), walt frazier (guard), … who was the famous and , perhaps, more famous now, … 6th man ??

16 hrs 30 min <<< !!!

oh man!! i dont remember… but i <3 those guys… reed and debusshere and EARL THE PEARL and walt frazier… good old days :)

to everyone: by the way - who is your current favorite nba player?

please correct me if i’m wrong dukemom, but i believe the answer to your question is dick barnett. he was pivotal during the series against the lakers and helped the knicks win their first NBA title.
