Ouch!! What a funny memory…

Okay, I know this isn’t exactly like those “I walked to school four miles in the snow…” but I do remember the punch cards and how insane it was at my big state U to run around the gymnasium, only to wait in long lines, only to find that you couldn’t actually get into any classes other than those starting at 8 a.m.–and all in conflict with each other. The very idea that I could read the printed catalog and figure out what classes were required is astonishing as I don’t actually think my U had any academic advisers. Oh my.

I just checked my email from the president of the Parents Council about the help needed- parents are needed to help set up and greet parents attending a session at Town and Gown that starts at 9:45AM. (Not check in students- sorry for the mistake.)
