<p>After I wrote a killer appeal and got a recommendation from an SDSU finance professor. Started a company, had a 2240 and a 4.1, I was once again rejected from Undeclared/business. Hey at least I won’t lose my hair from the stress at Cal haha! On to USC!</p>
<p>I wrote a pretty good appeal and sent a link to my investment research report (40 pages) from a competition that I did last summer with a letter of rec from an amazing teacher. Still got rejected. I applied Bio but changed my mind and want to do business</p>

<p>@iamnotindian I’m sure a lot of other things you did were way better than what I did. Though my grades are high and I am very active, you don’t know the things that I went through to be in the position I sit today. My test scores were mediocre, even though I did a lot of things that I know helped, when I was rejected it tore at me for awhile. However, I didn’t give up on it. No one gave me a chance for the appeal, I have a 1710 SAT, 4.3 GPA and some good extra-curricular activities. I worked my tail off in school, played sports and participated in what I could commit to and I still didn’t think I was good enough. Honestly I believe it was my teachers letter rec and I am grateful that she was willing to write it for me. I just ask that you don’t judge me. I think you will do great no matter where you end up and maybe you will transfer to Berkeley and thrive there as well. Good day and God Bless.</p>

Had mediocre stats
4.4 weighted 2100
EC varsity swimming, wrestling; lead alto for jazz band, marching band; founder of jazz club; 300+ hours; city council internship.</p>
<p>I wrote about winning the science fair and i guess CED has space.</p>
<p>No teacher rec just a appeal</p>
