[li]Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: Showed nerdiness in essays.
[/li]

[*]Advice? Commiserations? Feel like bragging?: Well I got a likely from Columbia a couple of months ago so I knew I had a great safety school in case I didn’t get in. A lot of you guys who got rejected were all around applicants, specializing in everything, who will get into HYPS, who look for that. MIT focuses considerably on the best math/science accomplishments. By the way, I got deferred by MIT in December, so for those who may have gotten deferred by yale or stanford, dont lose hope.
