Strengths: My essay was very heartfelt and “raw”, decent scores</p>

<p>Weaknesses: My short answers, and my answers to all the blurbs here and there weren’t very thought over. Started (& Finished) the essay hours before the deadline</p>

<p>Why you think you were accepted/rejected: I think I told a unique story, especially with my 78 y.o. father in a nursing home, and my mom’s homeless friend that we took in</p>

<p>What other Scholarships will you be applying for: I’ll be applying for NCM! But I don’t think I’ll rank because I want to apply to my dream college early!</p>

<p>**General Comments: ** I’m soooooo thankful! Still keeping fingers crossed for summer program! QB has been awesome, and I discovered it a year ago and haven’t stopped obsessing since! Congrats to all who won! To all who didn’t receive the scholarship: I think QB is very subjective in that I believe they have the task of somehow qualifying how debilitating your circumstances are and then weigh that with/against your achievement and award accordingly. (I have mixed feels about the terminology I used in that last statement, but oh well!)</p>
