Strengths: I’m smart, and I’m not afraid to share it. I never give up. I’m willing to help others no matter what. I’m a leader.

Weaknesses: Sometimes I’m not confident in myself, I am unable to do community service because I don’t have a car, and my list of awards is kind of short.

Why you think you were accepted/rejected: I think I was accepted because of how I’ve dealt with all my struggles throughout life. Also, I’m Mexican and not too wealthy (:.

What other Scholarships will you be applying for: Not sure yet, I’m a conditional resident, so these sorts of things are very complicated.

**General Comments: **
Apply! Even if you don’t think that you’ll make it, apply! The application looks really daunting, but if you take it a little bit at a time every day, then you’ll finish it with plenty of time to spare. Anyway, I wanted to point out what I think is the most important part of the application. To me, it’s not your grades, its how you got them and why it’s special that you got them. For instance, say you got an “A” in a rocket science class (haha, just follow along). That’s great and all, right? But maybe 439248298432 other kids got an “A” in that same class. However, if you got an “A” while you were dealing with a death in the family, illness, several jobs, or something else, then your “A” truly stands out. That’s all :)
