Writing (Write a brief description and Rate Quality on 1-10 Scale; 10 as Best): [take my own rating with a grain of salt] For my Common App essay I did topic of my choice. I chose to be a little bit more creative and different and modeled my paper on a facebook page and discussed how little you could learn about me from my own facebook page. I talked about what I wish it revealed about my character, interests, hobbies, upbringing, values, etc etc. I must say, I thought it was pretty clever. Probably about an 8. [ul][] Teacher Recommendation #1: Did not read (school policy) [] Teacher Recommendation #2: Did not read. [] Counselor Rec: Fantastic. Quoted a bunch of my teachers’ evaluations of my work, personality, etc. Discussed how involved I am in class discussions, how great my writing skills are, my people skills, etc. [] Additional Rec: none [] Interview: none[/ul]
