No, like I said, he appeared to be reading from a script. Someone in the other thread mentioned they were told there would be a high possibility of a retake of the June 6 SAT on June 20th, when they called yesterday.
Can we discuss which CR questions were on section 8/9
What math questions were on Sec 8/9 besides the pryamid one?
Oh god. Almost all of the ones I got wrong period were on 8/9. But I did omit a lot earlier. The curve has to be generous, if not we are at a huge disadvantage compared to others, and some of us rising seniors do not have an open schedule on the 20th. Trying to squeeze in some ECs yo
What was the short passage on the CR? I think it was the tomatoes…?
The tomatoes was the experimental section I thought…?
@Chrysanthemum14 No short passage lol, on last section of Crit there is only long passage.
So how do we sign up for the retake on June 20th, assuming that there is one for June 6 testers?
The website doesn’t appear to say anything about a retake. Again, it would be tough for a retake in summer for this many students, I would think, with schools being closed and people working/traveling.
Regardless, fewer questions means less leeway for mistakes. I think my math score this time around will be the worst it’s ever been.
They should add a test date like August or September to account for their error.
Are you sure there were short passagees? @basketballstar24
@nancyqin66 I said that there are no short passages on the last section of Critical reading, only 1 long passage.
Realistically it was either this or a mandatory retake. Hopefully they put an optional one on June 20th or in September.
@nancyqin66 it was the Maois comparison. Just two passages that were compared
Wait does it officially say there is an optional retake somewhere?
Could any give me an estimate if I think I missed 3 or 4 on the CR?
@relaxer06 High 600s low 700s? Based on predictions prior in this thread.
I’m guessing anywhere in the low 700s
Collegeboard is going to lose sooooo much popularity. I smell lawsuits coming their way.
