Does anyone remember the question about how the children feel when they’re in their mother’s suitcase?
I put “pure happiness”.

Was the answer choice for pure happiness a or f

Does anybody remember the answer choices for the harm principle question?
I second-guessed myself on that question, and I don’t remember the possible answers…

apristar, I’m not positive, but I think it was A. I was between that and respect for their grandmother.
And peydin, I’m pretty sure it was along the lines of not encroaching on freedom unless they harm someone.

I also got A for that question

Was the exact wording of the answer “pure happiness”? I remember that was the general idea but I remember something more along the lines of satisfaction? Idk hahaha i just know they were way too happy smelling that suitcase

diddly123, I’m pretty sure it was; that’s what I remember answering. The only other choice I remember is something like “respect for their grandmother,” which didn’t really make sense.

Does anyone remember the answer to the question about the utilitarianism passage that asked for all EXCEPT? I put the answer that said something about he believed the English excelled. I answered that because in the passage, towards the end, it said he had an English mistrust or something along those lines.

what was the main idea of the passage of john stuart mill and what was the vocabulary word

The main idea was that JSM was originally partisan, but has become more of a ubiquitous figure. No idea about the vocab word though.

bumping for feedback

what was the main idea of john stuart mill i put he was a strong philosopher

gideonn, read post 50.

I’m thinking there will be a lenient curve because of the co-author story. How often do you see a reading passage use sarcasm?

LoudestTrumpet, how lenient do you think it will be?

I just took my postponed ACT today. The editor was definitely happy to be getting away from Langsford. The only mention of “celebration” from being named co-author was him shaking hands all around, which doesn’t really seem like exuberance to me. The only question I debated on was the contentment vs. indifference one. The paragraph alone was indifferent, but the passage as a whole was content. I’m hoping the curve makes it so I can get one wrong and still get a 36.

I am 90% sure it was contentment. “Indifference” just seems too cold of a word to describe a mother watching her kids play. Especially in the context of the passage, since it was all about love, family, togetherness, etc.

lbouchard, what was the question with the choice for exuberance?

bumparoo…
