Can someone PM me the solution steps for 12, 13, 17, 19, and 20?

Officially depressed. Got a 94.5

It was hard >.<, way harder than AMC 10 which I took last year and got 3rd in state (ohio). Answered 1-16, missed #15, so 103.5. Highest in my school got 112.5, who’s one of the top 10 in ohio for math.

With that being said, curve I think, will be low 90s, maybe 91.5 - 94.5 or around that range. It won’t be in the 80s since the first 18 or so questions were not overly hard and were all manageable if you can do algebra (which I can’t).

What was the answer to the problem about a square with CD tangent to (0,1) on a circle and the other vertex on the other circle? I blanked out on the test and my teacher didn’t give me the answers or explain any of them. It was much harder than last year! My guess is that the curve will be about 90.

@hullohihello did u get D for 10? if it is I got 99 lol

yes, D is 10

yes! hope I’ve passed the cutoff line. last year i got 12 right although filled in 17. this time i got 14 out of 15 and didn’t even attempt to do any of other ten

the highest at my club was 150… o_O;

what kind of club are you in?

omg… 28 PM’s asking me for answers >.<

@johannes its more like an academy but he took it at school

@hellokitty94 how many can score that much in this whole country?

Can someone PM me the answers too? Thanks. I just took the test today, but I never got a solution pamphlet.

Err, can someone just quickly PM me the answer for #19?

How do you guys study for this amc? nobody just score a hundred and fifty by only taking math class at school right?

@kangroos ull get it by tomorrow

I’m a junior in calculus II, but it doesn’t help at all :/

does anyone have the official answer for AMC 12 ? please PM me

Got a freaking 93… I would have made AIME if I hadn’t guessed on 5 questions (which I all missed…).

I thought this year was OK; I just did really badly. Cutoff will prob be around 96-ish.

Btw I got 115.5 on AMC 10B last year, which was impossibly hard IMO, and I usually score 96+ on AMC 12 practice exams.

My teacher just told me that I got 96 on AMC12. I got 15 problems correct, 6 wrong, and 4 blank

Do any of you remember what you got for number 9? (As in what letter…)
