<p>Hey guys! Really hoping for some good news here. Got into CMC and Boston College in the last two days, but I just found out I’m waitlisted at Northwestern. An Amherst acceptance would TOTALLY cancel that out though…</p>

<p>^ Hey! I got into BC, but I was WL’d at Northwestern. I’m not really surprised. I don’t offer them any geographic diversity, I didn’t demonstrate any interest, and I sent my supplement in a month and a half after the deadline XD</p>

<p>Wesleyan told me to pay $50k, even though my EFC is $12kish. They’re regular tuition and whatnot, mind you, is $54k. Nice, right?</p>
<p>I liked that article a lot! Sounds like my sister. On the 50 ppl waitist at Yale, and then rejected in june. Accepted at Brown…and she loves it there. Rejection isn’t the worst thing, but honestly, part of me was like, “you got rejected from Harvard, yes, but Columbia is still Ivy league…” hahaha you can’t feel too bad for them.
I’m just visiting from the Wellesley board. I’m not even applying to Amherst, but I love the amherst group and how lively you guys are.
