Hey one does one reject a null hypothesis? Is it when it’s greater or less than the test value?

@bmonticello23
I am pretty sure that isn’t right. The 1 minute data was not the expected, I agree with you in that aspect. However, it was not included to show they started the flies equally distributed. They specifically said they introduced all 60 flies into the choice chamber via the middle and allowed them to go from there. The 1 minute data is given to show that there flies did indeed tend to move to the end with unripened banana.

To be honest, I thought the exam wasn’t that bad. I was able to finish all the problems both MC and FR before time was called, and the format surprised me, but in a good way. I felt like I got 3 wrong in the multiple choice, got all the calculations correct.

One thing we all can agree on: THE REVIEW BOOKS WERE COMPLETELY USELESS. Princeton review is awful

@study addict yeah i think your right actually, but what happened in the sowbug experiment…same as this basiclaly is that after 1 minute they checked out both sides but then made up their mind and went to where there was food. But yeah…how was there three groups? I had 1 df because there were two groups…ripe and unripe(whichever went to which side) so 2-1=1 and when i compared 1 against .05 i saw 3.84 and my critical value for my X^2 was 3.75 bc i said they would all go to the ripe (60,0,0) and i accepted my hypothesis. And i think you’re right. They’ll probably base it if its right against your null hypothesis.

man if you only got 3 wrong on the multiple choice then you probably didnt even have to do the essays lol

Was I the only person who asked for more paper during the free response? I didn’t think the pages they gave us was enough.

Were the questions on barrons similar to the MC on today’s test?

I think barron’s was pretty helpful and don’t regret using it to study…but I have seen my friend’s princeton book and think it’s garbage.

It was EXPECTED. You could put anything as long as you supported it with a claim.

i used cliffs…actually helped but a bit superfluous

Lol @GetOWNED have u not taken the test yet?

@the84thline yeah i think we can all agree on that one now.

Nah I took it. Feel pretty confident about MC. The essays were pretty decent.

I’m scared. That test was too easy.:0

@The84thline
That isn’t necessarily true. If the question was about a Dihybrid cross, you can’t randomly say the expected was going to be what ever ratio you want. There is only one acceptable expected, and that is the common predicted genotypic/phenotypic ratio.

So uh yeah… I didnt do part C (the chi squared part) of the first frq. Umm and I shatted some words down for the rest of the frq’s. i also didnt get to most of the mc questions. Any chance I could get a 2?

LIKE^^^^^^. I hope the curve isnt ridiculously small

Oh well. Time to go study for ap us history exam!
